Dear members and friends of DrawSpace,
Thank you to all who sent many warm wishes and hugs during my Dad’s lengthy illness. Sadly, Dad had a heart attack a couple of weeks ago, and finally passed away last week. During the long days and nights my family and I sat beside his bed in hospital, he was at peace. He has now crossed over and is no longer suffering, and for this I am truly grateful.
Also, please accept my heartfelt apologies for the delay in bringing you new lessons, and for the downtime of the forum. Various technical obstacles set us behind in completing our move to a brand new dedicated server with state-of-the-art security and upgrades.
Next week I plan to get back to work writing new lessons. I am also in the final stages of revising an additional 30 older lessons – some of which haven’t been revised since I started this site almost five years ago. In the meantime, please continue to enjoy the articles and lessons currently on the site.

Dear Brenda,
Please accept my sincerest apologies in the passing of your Dad. Yes, you are surely right, he is at peace now. Do remember he will ALWAYS be with you. Love NEVER dies! My best friend died 10 years ago, and frequently visits my husband and I. What a true blessing to know that life goes on, even though we cannot actually see, they are there. May your guardian angel keep you safe and surrounded with love at this very difficult time in your life.
Sincerely,
Linda

Brenda... My heart goes out to you. I think we were all worried, and concerned. I know the time you had with him will comfort you some, but still...remains one of the hardest things in life.

Brenda,
My condolences to you and to your family.
That we have to go, we know, but that going is always heart-breaking and grieve we do.
You were a good daughter and you did well by your father.
He is at Peace and went there fully satisfied that you did him well.
Again my condolences to you and my wish that you continue to be strong.
Sincerely

Brenda,
My thoughts are with you, and prayers that you will find comfort and peace during this difficult time. Thank you for providing this great place for us - even during this time - to learn and grow as artists - I've learned so much from you already, and I'm very excited to continue learning in the days ahead. May you find strength and renewed joy in the weeks and months ahead.......

I'm a newbie and stumbled across this kinda by accident. I know the thread is old...but the sentiment is not. BIG HUGS! I know how it is to lose a parent and I sympathize. I hope this finds you in a much better state of mind and with a happy smile on your face.
