This weeks list was volunteered by Rose (Farfellina).....Thank you rose for a creative list

If you are new to this challenge all we do is give you a list and you find the items in your home or work and draw them .. then post them for us to see...this kind of challenge helps with still life drawing ..looking at a 3 dementional object and drawing it ... its very easy.. and alot of fun ....normally Jeanette ran this thread and she did a outstanding job of it .. she is wise with the words I hope I make her proud lol .

Here is the list .. you may use pencil .. color pencils any medium you wish .. just have fun .



- Large kitchen container (flour bin, cookie jar... etc)
- Indoor plant (or dried flower arrangement)
- Your PC monitor
- Earrings
- Your pencil box (graphite or colour/ open or closed)
- A glass knickknack
- Small candy box (such as Tic Tac or Ricola etc)
- Perfume bottle
- Your cell phone (opened or closed)
- A wooden chair

Well I tried to sketch my old Flintstones cookie jar . I used to reach in it when I was like 5yrs old , it really is a collectable now and talk about memories for me from when I was a kid....this was fun. Brain

Great jar Brian.. Loved the Flintstones.. And as to color; how could you remember when I almost forgot myself? We know what a coward I am when it comes to color.

No, I wish it was but I couldn't find anything to match. My canisters are all white with the same locks on the lids and wooden spoons on the sides. Just plain.. I love my cookie jar!

Hello Rafael ..looks like you got yourself a cool monitor like mine ..19 inch

So the theme is glass.

A pink perfume bottle, both glass bottle and clear plastic cap in the shape of a star. And a little blue and clear glass dolphin which sits on my desk and is very dear to my heart.

I got the perspective on the base all wrong.

Thats one of my monitors at work. Everyone here has dual flat panels.
They're a huge win for companies because they use so much less energy than
a CRT.

Tonight I am suppose to be adding a new list .. now please let me know if this thread should be pulled and we can add in a different thread ...me and venus are trying to come up with different ones to hold peoples attention and interest .....should we keep this thread ? or give it a rest for now ?

I'd like to see it stick around.
