An ear is easy to draw when you become familiar with, and can sketch the shapes of its five major sections. In this project, you draw a realistic ear, by first sketching the individual parts that make up the overall shape, and then indicating the forms with crosshatching graduations.

Just got back into art. I am very interested in portraits and while my likenesses are improving there is much room for more. I found your lesson on the ear just facinating. I had copied ears from other resources but never could remember each time I drew someone. I found your way so simple and easy to remember especially about the "comma" which is the part I always had trouble with. After looking at most of your lessons that interest me I will join as soon as I get some work /money. Your lessons on crosshatching are great. I finally got the jist of it. Your lessons are a big help. Thanks
