Mecharver you must be gleeming with pride .. its awsome she took the Gold .
Kim you are someone very special. That drawing is superbe. I show it to Sophie and she said (Wow! What a nice drawing, she's good at making portrait. Better save it Dad)
You deserve a Gold Medal too, Kim.
I was looking through the site for something and stumble upon this thread with Sophie's name on it. I had to take a look. I wasn't expecting this surprise. It put me right back at that finishing line when she cross it and again my eyes start acting up.
Thank you very much Kim. I think this is the second best gift I got in a long time. The first was when she actualy cross that finishing line. I was so happy for her.
Being a child with special needs, this means a lot to her, such an accomplishment, will certainly help her self confidence and uplift her spirit.
This was a nice weekend we had. Not only she brought home a gold medal, but the memory of all theses young and some not so young men and women doing their best at all kind of sports.
It was cold, it was windy and yet I spend the whole weekend with them and I never heard the slightest complain. Every one had a memorable time, something they will never forget. I will never forget my weekend that's for sure.
I had comments from the hotels where the athletes were staying and they said they had never had peoples like that before, they were all very polite and respectful and quiet. By 10 pm everyone were in bed sleeping.
They were impress.
I don't know what to say Kim but thank you so very much. This is a wonderful gift. I will frame it for Sophie.
Thank you Thank you Thank You.
