I'm really glad to have found this site and can't believe all the great resources available here. Before posting
this first note, I've viewed a lot of the gallery contributions and can tell folks are enjoying producing their artwork....that's what it's all about. For me, I recently retired and signed up for a pencil drawing class at our local senior citizens center. Over the past two months, I've made some new friends in the classes who are trying to learn like myself. This was something I always wanted to try but never had enough time to get started. Many of us wonder about what's ahead in retirement, but I think learning to draw is going to be near the top of my list! Thanks to all who make this Internet site possible and I'm looking forward to reading the group discussions and learning from all of you. Regards....jim

Welcome to Drawspace, Dali!! It really is a great site here that Brenda Hoddinott as worked hard to create. She is a wonderful teacher and great person. I am sure you will love everyone here. When you feel comfortable try heading on over the the General Discussions Threads and try some of our Drawing Challenges we have made. Everyday drawing is essential to acheiveing success in drawing.
