why did you dra a kitty from lie in floor?

At first I was not willing to turn my attention to drawing kittens, puppies and angels - these are definately not my preferred subject matter. But I found that this was a very useful and enjoyable lesson and I really got into it. Even though it is extremely difficult to follow these lessons from the web site. I will come back to them when I have a printer. I believe that doing this advances studio series will dramatically inprove my skills. Thank you.

I have never been able to draw animals. Period. But, being a cat lover, I've always been wanting to draw my own Ms. Kittie, but could never grasp onto the concept of negative/positive drawing for the fur. I'm studying real close on how you achieved this, painstakingly.
