I couldn't get drawspace.com this morning and early afternoon. I phoned my daughter to try it too, but she couldn't get it either.

We moved to a new server over the weekend, which has led to some problems for a small percentage of our users due to the amount of time it takes for domain name updates to spread across the Internet.

Was the site simply not loading for you ("Page could not be found"), or were you being shown a more specific error message?

It was taking ages to load, then said page not found, check connection, check spelling, etc. Daughter got same - both of us in UK, but 100 miles apart. Thanks for answering. Seems OK now.

My error said something to the effect that Browser timed out due to a change in service..

Mine said. 'Unless you send us all your cash in a plain brown envelope, the site gets it!'

Couldn't get on to Drawspace this morning. Other web sites OK.

When the server moves the IP changes and that means DNS has to be updated. This can take a week to go around the world. If the DNS server at your ISP is not updated your browser is trying to go to the old server where Drawspace no longer lives. Nothing anyone can do about it, just the way the internet works.

Obviously it's working now. It seems to disappear for a few hours.
