Thanks Brenda,
As I have posted in my bio. I am also self educated.
I gained a reputation as an artist in about the forth grade. I sketched portraits of class mates during school. I got married in 1964. In order to support my family I neglected my art for many years, but after several lay-offs in the 80's I went self-employed and used my artistic talent to paint signs.
In 1999 I opened up a small gallery in a small town. After Sept. 11th in 2001 I soon had to close.
In 2004 I decided to concentrate on drawing portraits. As I look back I think I should have put more effort into sketching portraits all along.
Anyone wishing to contact me concerning doing portraits from photos can email me at: bobby_burcham@yahoo.com. Also, if anyone wishes a print out of any of the drawings I have posted can contact me.
And Brenda, thanks just don't seem sufficient.

Thanks for the opportunity for a little self-promotion, Brenda!
I work as the Creative Director and partner of a branding and design firm here in Taiwan called ili Design (www.ilidesign.com). Although we focus primarily on creating corporate style brand imagery, I spend a lot of time doing illustration as well. I was educated in art at the Art Institute of Seattle, and in Mandarin Chinese at Providence University in Taiwan. I have been published as an illustrator in the DVD Gallery of ImagineFX magazine, and in a number of local magazines.
I also accept illustration commissions, please take a look at my portfolio for a taste of my style of digital art:

Ethan Ford is a UK artist based in Manchester.
Ethan is a self taught artist who has developed his artwork over the last twenty years, particularly developing an interest in black and white art into a pen and ink techniques "Stippling" and "Crosshatch".
Ethan's main subject matter is Motorsport. Other than his art, he is fanatical about anything relating to Motorsport. He feels the Crosshatching style suits the Motorsport theme which gives the feeling of velocity in the drawing. "I want to create a sense of motion and emotion in each drawing". But he can turn his hand to most subjects, from landscapes to portraits as well as wildlife and Motorsport.
At present Ethan is striving to develop his artistic skills further. He is planning to arrange several exhibitions in the very near future. He is also open to commission requests.
Ethan's artwork can be found in private collections and organisations worldwide.
For examples of Ethan's art, please follow the link to his online portfolio: www.ArtWanted.Com/eef

I'm self-taught and a part timer as well when it comes to art. I've done several commissions mostly technical in nature such as cars, aircraft, homes, motorcycles..etc. I've created a few business logos as well. Feel free to pm here or e-mail at home address. My commissioned work has been in pencil/graphite, colored pencil and for logo's I digitize the work.
