Hello everyone. My name is Troy, 45, drew a few pictures years ago and have been getting the urge to start drawing again.
I'm self taught so am not familiar with how I should start with lessons. I have some pictures I can post here but all but one of them were drawn from pictures that are not mine so don' t want to get into trouble by posting them.
Anyways, glad to have found the site here, enjoying seeing everyone's art (great stuff all!) and looking forward to starting to draw again (although it makes me nervous because my creativity is taking a serious nosedive the past couple years).

Thank you Paulette4 for the welcome.
I was reading around the forums some more and read that if a drawing was done from another's picture but for educational purposes than it should be ok to post. I assume that still applies?

Welcome!
Yes, Troy, from what I understand it's fine to copy other people's photos/drawings, just try to give credit to the original artist, or at least state that it's from a reference. Many people don't. The only legal problems that might arise is if you sell something without the permission of the original artist.

Thanks Mindy for the information. I went ahead and posted them up stating that they are not from my original photographs.
