I'm having trouble uploading an image,scanned from my photo album.It says the file is too large,but it's only one picture.I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.help.

Each image uploaded has to be less than 500kb. By default most scanners will scan an image at a print quality resolution (200-300) which makes for a massive file size.

Try scanning your image at 72dpi. This is the standard "screen" resolution. Then right click on the file and select properties to make sure it's less than 500kb before you upload.
