Hey all, something I find interesting is the process of drawing, particularly the way the mind works when drawing.

For example, when I really get deep into drawing, I can "feel" whatever it is that I'm drawing in my mind. It's like there is a 3D model of the subject planted right in the middle of my brain and it just seems to translate to the page. Hope that makes some sense.

I would like to read about what others feel/experiance when "in the zone".

Thanks.

I find that I start to 'explain' the process when I get really into it! Like I'm trying to teach somebody else how to proceed! Embarrasing when out in the street! unsure.gif

Lol, excellent! So you talk through it out loud? I'm gonna give that a try smile.gif

I sometimes stare at something or someone and 'draw' it/him/her in my mind... if I don't have a pencil and paper near at hand smile.gif I usually do it in public transport as my eye wanders from person to person. I am beginning to think that it is a good exercise...
Also, sometimes when I draw continuously for some time, my hand sort of.. goes a little wild and confident... sketching in very broad and quick movements. I enjoy this state a lot, but it doesn't happen too often.
