I did what you suggested,but my scanner will only allow 75dpi minimum,I still can't seem to sort it out.Thanks for your help.

75 should be low enough. Couple of things:
- Are you saving the images as .jpg's?
- When you right-click the file and choose "properties", what is the file size?
