Not too long after I joined the site, I had a stroke, which rendered me unable to read. Now, after nine months, I can read again, although not like I used; but I'm glad I can read and function. They don't know why I had the stoke.

I'm so happy to be alive, though! I am no longer embarrassed to post anything, and now that I'm laid off because my employer doesn't want to have anyone who had a stroke (a Village Hall no less), I will be able to devote myself to learning all about painting and drawing, photography, and living to the fullest.

Today I'm going to busy myself with reviewing the site again and telling people I know about this place!

For those of you that welcomed me, and those that contribute here, I'm glad to be back in the world.

Welcome back Maggie. I had a heart attack a few years back. Those life threatening events really make you sit up and take stock eh? I hope you continue on the road to full recovery! Art is a great comunicator.
