I was cruising through the Forums tonight, as I usually do for entertainment, and noticed there are only a few comments made to the Lessons themselves. I realize this feature was recently added, but I was wondering; What I would personally write as a comment to a Lesson?
Then it dawned on me.
I thought of something that may get Members more active at taking lessons, and at the same time provide them some feedback to their individual accomplishments. Simply, rather than request for a comment to the Lesson, why not ask the Member to either upload their completed drawing to the Lesson forum, or post a link to view it. This way, other skilled Members could reply to the individual postee with tips, helpful suggestions, or possibly Brenda could even grade the work. Also, if enough Members posted drawings there, one could get an average indication of how easy or difficult the Lesson may be.
I was inspired by this idea while looking at Calvin's completed exercises which he posted to the Gallery, and thought it would be great to preview this work within the actual Lesson forum.
Sorry Calvin, didn't mean to drop the dime on you!
