All,
Since this website is located on a Global scale network, it would be interesting to see where each of the Members reside. My suggestion is that everybody take a small amount of time and update their profile with their location in the world. I'm not asking you to put in your entire address, but a city and country or state would be nice. This way we could all get a little more acquainted and who knows, maybe some of us may even be neighbors or family.
It is rather simple to do; just click on the "My drawspace" tab at the top of any page. This will open up your personal page on the website, then click the "Advanced Controls" link in the upper left near the Avatar. In the left hand menu on the Advanced Controls page locate and click on "Edit profile information". This is where you can enter such things as Birthday, Instant Messenger Names, Location, and Interests.
Something this simple can make a world of difference when conversing on these types of sites. Its a proven fact that the happier people are somewhere, they will always find a way to remain there.
Keep those points sharp!

Why, your suggestion has moved me! I have entered my location. I wonder if now it will be placed along with my picture. [YES, it has! --edit]
Expect an unusual concentration of people from Holland, if they can converse in English, because there actually is a Dutch translation of Brenda's book where it is known as TEKENEN VOOR DUMMIES. I wonder, though, if other translations exist?

This is a great idea! I’d love to know where everyone who is participating in the forum, is located on this vast planet (I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada).
We are indeed international – the top nine parts of the world currently visiting this site (over 80% of the total traffic), in order are:
1 United States
2 South Korea
3 Canada
4 Great Britain (UK)
5 Brazil
6 India
7 Australia
8 Germany
9 France
In addition to English, my Drawing for Dummies book has been translated into Dutch, French (published in Paris), Bulgarian, Spanish, and German; with more on the way.

How amazing to hear South Korea is number 2. I can't ever remember seeing that anyone was from there.

That's interesting, I wouldn't expect South Korea to be so high in the list.
And I've added my location

All,
I reposted to this suggestion since there are many new members out there that may not know how to get their location listed on their profile when they are posting. If you haven't, please do this so we can all see where you are located. What we will find is that this site is truly a globally used site, and therefore may justify getting a translation system set up.
