Have a look in the inspirational galleries. Maybe you find some cool stuff too?
I like to draw portraits myself, but I challenge myself by choosing difficult pictures like this portrait of 'The Beast' --> it's something different wink.gif
Or maybe you can draw people but then in odd poses? (Like the boy hanging on the balcony upside-down that Brenda drew)

Or maybe something completely different like landscapes or buildings with odd shadows. Or cartoons

Please consider joining us in the Drawing Day Challenge. I've posted several pictures to choose from. You can draw them the way you see them or create your own composition from them.

Things to draw that give you a change in pace is something that is challenging like your portraits .. say a Zippo lighter is a change yet with the reflections it still provides you with a challenge. see you already are drawing one of the hardest things to draw for most and thats a portrait ...so whatever you choose make it a challenge .

Yes, I do remember your portrait of the chinese girl in the challenge I hosted some wks ago. Good portrait!
I also recommend you to visit the different galleries. A lot of good photos, some of them quite difficult to draw.

I think anything is pretty much the same as drawing everything, it's all just shades of gray. If you want to have fun with it, don't be a slave to your subject. Change things, move things around, put crazy lines here and there for no good reason. Don't just copy something, but create something. Think of yourself as an artist not a camera.
Say you do a portrait, but change the background, or the hair style of the subject, or maybe dress them different.
Get a few differnent referance photos and create one picture from them. Basically drawing anything is boreing!!! But createing something, is awsome.
