Welp, I'm really, really new here and trying to get used to this site. I'm sort of nervous...so much amazing work is on this site! I feel like a rookie that is just here for embarrasing critiques lol. So...I hope I'll fit in! I plan to drastically improve my skills here, despite my age, background, and lack of skill. Hope to make a few friends on here....already loving the site though!

I know exactly how you feel. Before I joined yesterday I thought I was pretty good, but I'm not so sure anymore.

Welcome to you both. Be assured there are all levels of talent on this site. Do not be intimidated! We all felt the same way before we joined. The thing to remember is, art is fun. Not a chore or a day job! If you can get to the standard when you can make it a day job? You might be on the right road! If it ever becomes a chore, give it up! I'm sure you'll both make lots of friends here. Don't be afraid to jump in and ask questions.

I've found one of the best ways to improve, is to try the weekly challenges! Plus, you'll get to know everybody!

Then maybe I should try that. Thanks for the advice!
