Hello... unsure.gif

I had stumbled on to this site with the Google Search Engine.
It seems like a great site, but I am a little worried at trying any of the exercises.
I usually only draw as a way to pass time if I am getting extremely bored, and
I have never actually kept my drawings. Normally I just work on realistic cartoons. blush.gif
Will drawing from life (or picture) help to draw things unreal from my mind?

P.S. I'm very shy. In both the real world and cyberworld, so I don't post as often as most.

In a word, yes -- and not only that, I know many people who would say drawing from life (or at least good photographs) is the only way to learn to draw from your imagination.

I'm someone who wouldn't heed that advice at first, and lived to regret it. For the rest, I will defer to the longtime members, since I'm just a newbie around here. cool.gif
