Hello, my name is John, I’m 44 years old and from Oak Ridge New Jersey (USA). I found Drawspace.com while surfing for drawing tips. I've always loved to draw but never devoted the time it takes to be proficient. I would like to "re-invent" my drawing capabilities. I am interested in graphite pencil art, primarily portraits.
The artwork on this site is amazing! I was so excited when I discovered Drawspace. I am hoping to create my first piece of work soon, (I haven’t drawn in about 15 years) and place it up here. I hope, when the time comes, I will receive some “constructed criticism” (please be gentle). For now, I will just gaze and admire, with hopes of being as good as some of the members here.
