How do I delete a post that I might post in error. Or like that test I did. How do I delete that? I don't see any delete button or option.

Thanks
isshinart
There should be an edit button somewhere, or a delete key. Let me see if I can find it.

Ahhh yes, there it is. At the bottom right of your post there are four buttons, delete, edit, quote, and reply. Just hit the delete button and it will take your old post right out of there.

I have Edit Quote and Reply but no Delete button.

Odd. My delete button is just to the left of my Edit button.

Sounds like you may be trying to delete a topic?

If this is the case, go to the root of the forum with the topic you are trying to delete:
General discussion: http://www.drawspace.com/forums/index.php?showforum=2

Find the topic that you wish to delete and click it's checkbox on the right hand side.

Then scroll down to the bottom of the topic list and find a drop-down that says "Close topics". Change this to "Delete topics" and click the "With Selected" button next to it.

Going along the same Topic lines as the first question. Say, I forgot to log into the forum with my user name (i.e. logged out, daughter logged in, or using a new computer without the cookie) and I make a reply and it doesn't put in my user profile info to the left. Is there a way to delete that reply and then repost after logging in? I have seen a couple instances of this in the forum and I also did it myself then couldn't find a way to delete it. I should have realized what was going on when it asked for my name prior to submitting the reply.

Thank you so very much Admin. I will try that. (Proving once again beyond a shadow of a doubt that computers hate me.) Ok I went to the root and I don't see a check box or any of the things you spoke about. Ugh.

Hrmm...

I've done some tests and it looks like self-moderation on topics isn't working for certain groups. Despite the fact that it's clearly enabled sad.gif

I'll continue to look into this.

Calvin,
You could always just edit your topic title/post to read: 'Delete Me'.

Not a fix... but a workaround.

Gotta give all those admins something to do. laugh.gif

Good idea Rodney!

Consider it already done.

Your artwork was instrumental in pulling it off.
