Here is a suggestion that worked for me. In the Intermediate Dog Eye lesson Brendon has us erase little V shaped wedges in the left side of the eye to make room for the fur that will go there. I have a pencil eraser that I can sharpen to a point to do this but it only is good for one swipe and then it is dirty and hard to clean. I bought some of that Blue Tac eraser stuff. Ok I poked my eraser pencil into the blue tac repeatedly and it removed the lead from the pencil eraser so I could make another white wedge in the eye and so on. I also used it to clean my regular eraser. Blue Tac! Yea! laugh.gif

always used putty erasures best by far as you can shape them to a point and just squoosh them .. they are good for stress relief as well

I spent half an hour recently smooshing a brand new putty eraser into a ball laugh.gif for no real reason really, but it was rather fun.

I use pencil toppers V shaped wedges erasers a lot they are cheep about .97ยข for 40 pieces. I clean them with super fine sandpaper 600 grit. You can rub your eraser on the sandpaper back to a sharp wedges & it is clean works for me.

Wow! PeeWee! Did you draw those?

I like to hold my putty in the non-drawing hand. I comes in handy holding the edge of my drawing board up without leaving a nasty crease across my fingers. Oh, and when I need to get rid of nasty graphite, I'll take my putty out for a walk.

Personally I tend to rub my erasers over stretched cloth to clean them. Which usually ends up being my pants... I think I got into that habbit as a kid. blush.gif Works like a charm though! biggrin.gif

Cool, that makes you almost the same age as my wife! She's from November 1980 too smile.gif
I used to draw a LOT as a kid. My free time was pretty much 50% devouring the local library, 40% drawing, 10% goofing off blush.gif I loved to draw in class when I was bored too.
Been a long time since I did any reading or drawing though and I never really followed any drawing classes, so I'm sorta starting from scratch.

Not really, it leaves a light line at first, but it fades out fast.
