Hi all

Iam in oil pastel fever those days ,find it amazing and great challange to draw with this media .I used to draw with pencil and charcoal .
check my drawing and advise and comment to improve my skills Plzz

These look great! The only improvement I would suggest would be some highlights here and there on the cherries and the pear. Very nice work. Very pleasing to the eye.

I wish I knew more about oils ... I do not know how they blend or color layering ...I know that is important ...these look fine to me other then I would like to see more highlights to show depth ...but to say how to get that effect I cant because as i said I know very little about the medium.

Your very first works are promising and this is the medium that always wins hearts in those who experiment or try it for the first time.
Last year in April I bought my first set of oil pastels and soon I fell in love with them so I opened this topic you might wish to ckeck out for web links and resources.
