tongue.gif You know, that Weeping Willow only gets inspiration when the wind blows...

You guys know you're just jealous for not having thought of it first. It is a pretty creative idea. With water soluble ink and light wash, it could make a very interesting background! And for my fellow sci-fi nuts, how do we know the tree is not trying to tell us something? smile.gif

I recently attended an art display, and while there I observed a fascinating peace. It was a radio placed on a stool playing a continues scream. However the stool and radio was incased in a brick wall. I stood there for quite some time pondering the scream that was trying to escape. After I came home I was inspired to create this piece.

I first painted a copy of Edvard Munch's scream, then I painted white over it. Can't you just feel the painting trying to come out? sleep.gif

One day, I'm going to paint my cat and let it run around and call the result modern art. Saying that, it's probably already been done. Crazy
kim1963
people probably pay big money for a drawing drawn by a tree .lol
Traumsonne
*lmao*

How astonished we all would be if this tree would draw a portrait of a stroller.......
Aviation
Of a stroller? And its not really the tree drawing but the wind!

I would like to see the results of that, not because I think its very artistic but because I would like to see how much it was able to draw.

I would like to see one during a hurricane that didn't get smashed or blown away. And one during a calm day, but not too calm. I don't just want to see three dots!
Violinagin
That... that... is SO awesome. I love it! The implications with weather and chaos theory and math and even change in weather with choice of inks and paper and weather to keep adding pens or... so cool. Fractals, Chaos, Small changes, large differences, absorption rates of paper...

I would hang the result in my house biggrin.gif I think I might go find a willow.

Glad to see you posting again, Violinagin! If you should try this experiment, please let us see the resulting painting. LOL

I'll be posting more. No more show to worry about! tongue.gif

No willows any where near here though. I've been playing with the idea of an easel set up next to a tree and have the branches do the same thing... Nothing really seems to be working correctly. It's harder to set up than it seems!
