Full Version: Transparent paper or Map paper

Hi all smile.gif

Just wonder if using Transparent paper would help in catuching details and correct the Proportion so after that when i just stop using them i would be familier with the Proportion and learn how to see

Bobby just wrote something on this ...I believe he use to or still does use it ..he will post when he sees this i am sure .

I know you do not want to depend on it all the time ...but it can help you with lines ..but he has a wonderful way of explaining it .

My advice is to "draw first" as you see it, and then "test" your accuracy with the tracing paper. This will force you to study the scene, and test your drawing skills. If you trace first you may be like an adult who always uses crutches instead of learning to walk. Others may have different opinions. biggrin.gif
