That's my fav too !!! I need to get outside more without having to mow the yard or pull weeds !!.

I think your work is unique and I love your style !
Sveta17
Thank you, Kim!

Sveta, what beautiful color drawings!! The watercolor flowers are one of my favorites, as well as the forest in color pencil (the last one).
I wish I could draw in color, but the few times that I tried ... well let's say that I quickly continued working in black&white sad.gif

I also went out the weekend to a local park (Domaine Howard) and sketched some trees and stones. Both are the same group of trees and stones from different angles; the perspective is not very good rendered as the group was in a downhill, and in the second drawing the stone at left is really bad sketched, but I am happy with the work in the tree roots.
I usually do not draw outdoors, but I liked the experience (this time I used a lot of insect repelent, ja!).

These have a really dramatic sense of light vs. dark, Claudio. and a very good texture.

Well done Claudio! I love the first one, it would make a good inclusion into a bigger piece.
Claudio Pousa
Thank you, Sveta and Steve for your comments. And yes, I was thinking too of repeating the motive in a bigger format with a more studied composition.

Very nice one, Steve. I like how you depict all the different textures in the landscape. I will wait some weeks, so I could probably see it again in a beautiful watercolor. Am I right? smile.gif
And I really agree with Sipsik: you have very lovely land and seascapes in England!

Siks, you have such an individual style! I love the car, it's just superb!

Kim, I will try to post a link to some photos of my local area! If anybody wants to use them as inspiration? You are most welcome. I'll get some together now and make a folder available online.

edit

OK, I've uploaded a few pics, I'll add more when I can. This is how they came out of the camera! The only editing I've made is the size. Just to make it easier to upload.

Clickity! smile.gif

You can use these photos for any art projects you want.

Great photos, Steve. I guess I have to plan a visit to England too biggrin.gif

Steve with so much beauty around you it would be a shame if you weren't such a great artist. Such a pretty country, but I think you must be somewhat of a photographer as well. Thanks for sharing and we'll look for more.

I only have a very small digital camera. It's automatic, just point and click! I try to take photos of things that might inspire me to paint if I don't have time for a sketch! smile.gif
Claudio Pousa
Steve, thank you for the pictures! I specially loved the port series; I guess the watercolor lovers will make lovely paintings.
England is indeed an incredible country. For example, I found a guy with green hair ... smile.gif

I've made some quick sketches today in the park and one - of a curious plant in a pot on the window sill. The little boy I had to sketch in a minute - but I overheard what he was saying to another boy - "The wolf is sHleeping..."

These are wonderful sketches sveta. smile.gif

Fantastic sketches!

Sveta, your sketches continue to amaze me! Great work!

Summer is finally coming to an end here - which means I can go outside and sit for more than 30 seconds without melting. Here's a sketch of a bird who was kind enough to pose for me on top of his house.
