Hi everyone!
Here is a new drawing.
*laughin*
This picture has a funny story: I started it as an exercise in perspective drawing with my mech. pencils incl shading and all.
The-he-hen I decided that I could try out my "new" Graphitint pencils (bought a month ago) and overlaid it with them.
Hm - I didn't like that and laid it over with my Ppolychromos pencils and this was pretty good. Fairly dark but okay.
Then I saw the incredible pen drawing of Dissector. At the same time when I bought the Graphitints I too bought a pen - fineliner.
So I worked on the picture above all with this pen. In the meantime it has become even darker but not too dark.
Here is the result: [attachmentid=4509] (size 4x6" Stone and wooden bridge in Hessen/Germany)
Has anyone similar experiences? Or am I the only one with such a crazy way of drawing???

Not at all Martina. Everyone experiments and uses multimedia. Sometimes one medium doesn't look strong enough so you add another layer, then another, and finally it turns into something interesting, like this!

I can't say I have every layered media... though I have abandoned one approach for another when the first didn't seem to work.
I like this..... I think you have found your niche in landscape Martina.
Nice to see you posting Jeanette - you're very much missed!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments - as Brian said in another thread - you all know how to motivate one!!!
And yes Rose, I think landscapes and everything that hast to do with it is my niche. But hearing this from you means a lot to me.
