[size=4]Hi to all
wub.gif I love this site. wub.gif
I am in my late 30's with a hectic family life, (but love every minute of it).
I have always loved art and dabbled with it on and off for many years. I have made a promise to myself that i am going to try to do a couple of lessons a month, and to see if i can improve. I have been looking at everybody's artwork and i am just blown away with how good the drawings are, some are that good you can mistake them for photos.
wub.gif This site is wonderful and very helpful with the lessons and peoples comments and tips. Also this site gives a chance to speak to friends from all over the world with the same interest as yourself. wub.gif
tongue.gif My three year old daughter loves paper and pens and every day she colours, scribbles, draws or paints. My son who is twelve loves doing stick men in a storyboard fashion, usually fighting elves or pixies. tongue.gif
The amazing thing about art is that while you are drawing or painting you can disappear into a peaceful, relaxing world.

Love to all

biggrin.gif Shaza, Hi and Welcome to Drawspace!! Yes, I love the way you can get lost in art, almost too much..lol. I have 4 children myself. All of them love art and drawing as well. Right down to my 2 year old who's favorite place to draw at the moments are my walls. She likes to sneal off and do it when I am not looking..LOL. The site is wonderful with great people. I hope you join in on the challenges over in the General Discussion Threads as well as the new class on figure drawing that Joanie (Painter48) is preparing for us all. Anyway, hope to see you around. tongue.gif

Hi Venus
Yes my three year old went through a stage of decorating walls, doors and radiators too. Finally she has grown out of that. However my grandaughter is coming up to that scribble everwhere age, so i'll have to keep a close eye on her.
I will have a go with the challenges and thank you for the lovely, warm welcome. smile.gif

Hi Paulette 4
Thank you for the warm welcome and invite to the challenge, i will have a go and hope to finnish it by the 5th. However it is my son's 16th birthday and i am planning a party for him, so my time is a little tight at the moment but still very excitied about having a go at the challenge. If i don't get it finnished in time can i still upload it at a later date?

Hi Traumsonne
Drawing is an escape from reality even if it is only for a short time. Now that i have found this site and have once again got the art bug running through my veins, i will be able to switch off and find peace. Thank you for the warm welcome too.

Hi Nadinea
Thank you for the welcome. I have already started to feel like part of the Drawspace family.

Hi Kim
What i fantastic idea. biggrin.gif You sound like a very cool mum.
I have thought about painting their bedroom doors black so they can use it as a blackboard but never thought of giving them a wall... such a good idea. I too love being a mum, even though it can be a worry at times but most of all its full of laughter, smiles, cuddles and love. wub.gif
Thank you for your lovely welcome.

Shaza,
Your always welcome to add to the challenge after. In fact you can go to old challenges and do them also, although you will find we keep you pretty busy around here. smile.gif
