hey there all, i am back! sorry i was gone for a couple days, my son was taken to the hospital the other night due to a hole in his heart......he is only 2 years old...... he is still there at the hospital but i was going crazy....i had to come home for a couple hours to shower and get away...my parents are with him now...he goes for surgery tomorrow afternoon to repair it....im crossing my fingers all goes well....i dont know what i would do without my little baby boy......then with the stress of what happened with him and all the bad luck ive been having while at the hospital i miscarried...talk about LUCK!!!! I must have been perfect in my past life cause im sure getting dealt an unfair hand this time around...i did print off a couple of pictures for the draw challenge this week...im working on them while he sleeps so maybe tomorrow or the next day i will be posting them...drawing keeps me sane...ive also drawn one of him sleeping in the hospital bed(crib) lastnight....which i will be posting soon too....hope everyone is ok....talk later take care

thank you all so much....he went in this afternoon for his operation to repair the hole in his heart and had a few complications...the surgeon said they lost him 3 times during the operation and hemoraged....but he is in ICU and hooked up to mashines....he is in a medically induced coma and hopefully should be out of it soon....what a day this has been!!!! im so tired that i cant sleep....so before heading to the hospital again i am going to have a shower and try to sleep for a couple hours....here in bc where i live parents arent allowed to spend the night in the hospital room with their children....i am allowed to stay until 8:30pm ( a hlaf an hour over visitors hours) and get there at 12:30 (1 hour before visiting hours) our health care system is horrible....my daughter is distrought she ddint go to school today she couldnt stop crying....all she knows is that her baby brother is in the hospital and that he had to have an operation cause as she said "he has a broken heart" shes a sweetie and drew him a picture to get better....i might post it here also....i think i will just start a new topic when i post my pics...i hope you all dont mind....its easier for me to do that than to have to find where they go...and all that jazz....well im off to try to relax....thanks so much for thinking of us in our time of need....my heart and sons heart goes out to each and everyone of you for your kindness and love you gave to us....now that i am crying i will let you go....thanks again and keep your fingers crossed that all continues to go well.....love laurie and jesse

Laurie, my heart goes out to you and your family and you are definately in my prayers. I wish your son a speedy recovery and hope to hear some good news soon. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage as well. I have been there and know how hard it is to get over one. I had one my first 2 pregnancies. Just know that the lord works in mysterious ways and never gives us more than he thinks we can handle.
