Hi, I am working on this portrait for a friend, just for fun, but I would like for it to resemble the lady in the picture! I can't seem to get her expression right, something is just not right. Any comments or advice would be appreciated! Thanks, Elizabeth

It's hard to see in the very small drawing you've shown us -- if you could upload larger pictures, that would make it much easier. Based just on these, though, there are three issues I can see: in the drawing, the length of the chin is too short (from the mouth to the bottom of the chin); the corners of the mouth are not turned up in the drawing; and in the photo, her eyes have a boxy, rectangular shape, whereas they are more elliptical in the drawing.

Ernest is right it is hard to see .. but from what i can see .. her nose bridge is longer and her chin is longer then what you have drawn ..smile.gif
Hope that helps some .

I see what you mean about the size of the picture, so I tried to make it larger. Is this any better? Thanks for all the advice, I think I try so hard I can't achieve what I'm after. I will try to do the changes suggested. Thanks, Elizabeth
