Can't find it now, but somebody mentioned a Channel 4 (uk) program on life class. I watched it today, and then found this site. Basically, it's a model sat there while you try your hand at drawing or painting her/him. There are three episodes on this link. I tried them all today! and was pretty pleased with this effort!

Did anyone else have trouble getting Drawspace to move faster than syrup this morning ? I couldn't get it to load at all .. Could be the heat .. we are now at 106 .. Skinny dippin' is not even an option !!!

I've just watched the first two episodes, and they demonstrate in the clearest possible way the sad state of the art establishment here in the UK.
Here's the model, and resulting painting, from the second episode. The artist, who shall here be nameless, is a Royal Academician (which once had people like Turner and Waterhouse among their membership).
(I've pixellated most of the model, to avoid any problems anyone might have with nudity - though I was also tempted to pixellate the painting, as doing so would immeasurably improve it).

Steve I like your drawing ...some areas could use a little work but drawing a women setting like this is a challenge and I think you did very well with it .
