I think is a good portrait, but the pupil is located in the center of the iris (see the left eye of your portrait).

I guess that Anamaria has a point. I don't know if you used a reference or is from imagination but observation of human types of eyes shows that that kind of eye with large round irises have usually double eyelid(folded) while you positioned the eyebrow too close to the eye.Either you reduce the size of the iris or place the eyebrow higher up to make another fold of the eyelid.
The rest is excellent.

My two cents worth, more contrast is needed throughout. Push the darks, it will give more dimension to the portrait, as tone creates form. It is so pale it seems tentative or hesitant. Otherwise, very well done. I agree with the comment about the pupil and iris.

Hey there! Welcome to drawspace. biggrin.gif This is a great place, I just joined not too long ago. You will get great and honest advise as well as learn a whole lot. I love the picture of Jesus! I hear everybody about the eyes but even still they show the intensity that He has. It is simple but has the emotion with it.

Look forward to seeing more of your work. rolleyes.gif

I agree the drawing is fantastic, but the pupil does throw the drawing off some.
