I have been practicing the human torso, and for the most part it seems to be getting easier and more natural for me, except I can't seem to get female breasts down. I tend to draw them too high on the chest, and too large. blush.gif Any tips at all would be very kind, thanks!

Try working from some examples, even bra ads.

unless you are drawing Pam Andersons breast they should droop some ..the nipples should not be right in front ...straight on ..for a natural look you want them to be lower .. then shading is important..to get the roundness . good luck and I would love to see the drawing when you are done .. or just scan it and we can help you better if we see what you are doing .

While, I am not very versed in drawing technique myself, I always try to remember that there is no shame in using a ruler to get proportions correct. I think I would attempt to measure key points on the breast, such as shoulder to nipple, as well as distance from one breast to another. This might help you to get them in the proper location, and make them proportional to each other. From there the most important things are size and shading. If you are looking at a reference for your drawing, try to keep it relative to the size of the reference. Practice is probably the best method for getting it right.

A digital camera works wonders for posting too.
