Hey
im doin product design in september at uni and got some work to do before i go, could do with some help, i know it should be my own work but im a bit stuck for ideas
this is what i revieved in the post
Repeat forms
You are required to produce 50 A3 drawins which explore the potential and reflec the subject of repeat forms. the essential element of this breif is a varied interpretation of what this means, and an experimental approach in terms of colour, form, depth, texture, graphic and tone for example.
im ment to use hand drawings and photos and 3d work for repeat forms in man made and natural terms,
hope you can help
thanks chris

Sorry, we generally like to help people, but I'm not sure I know what you're asking -- for ideas for drawings of nature that involve repeated forms?
-- A forest
-- A fern
-- A field of flowers
-- A herd of animals (or crowd of people)
-- Layers of sedimentary rock
-- Blades of grass
-- ?
Do those help?

Yeah, I don't really know what you are asking either. I might be able to help because I had to do a small product design project for a class last year but I don't know what you mean by repeated forms.

sorry re read my last post and i was rude, sorry,
yea they do help thank you, the whole idea of repeat forms is that it can mean anything you like, anything that repeats itself in man made or natural world such as repeat designs like new and old mini or in a natural sense a leaf and how it has the same basic design such as the veins but a different look,
loving teh sedimentary rock idea aswel
thanks and keep them coming
chris
oh and forgot to mention, have used colours and their meanings such as red as a warning such as stop light or car brake light or such as green as go of fire exit
