Heyas!

Came to this forum by interesting means. A year ago I came across Drawing for Dummies which Brenda had written for. I only read a bit of it but I was inspiried from what I read in the book and the lessons. Having looked around for the book more recently, I head about this site

I'm a good cartoonist though admittedly I have somewhat neglected studies on more realistic art and have since realised I need to go back and start from basics. I'm so glad to find a place that can help give me a helping hand with that perticular area.

Eather way, I hope to learn a lot here and maybe even contribute to the community. Nice to meet you all!

I love cartoons also and tried a few of Brenda's lessons and take part in the weekly challenges....I still have a long way to go but I am now drawing things I never imagined I could draw....I started out drawing Fred Flintstone....

Jenny, Welcome to Drawspace!! I saw your cartoon character and she is sooo adorable!! Great job. There are a few challenges going on over in the General Discussion area if you are interested. There is also a colored pencil class going on being hosted by a great teacher here at Drawspace, which I believe you still have time to start if you want too. A few people are just starting and some are on to their second pictures. If you need anything like Kim stated just ask someone is always around to help out.
