Welcome Zackster! We're looking forward to seeing more of your work. It's admirable that you want to draw like your dad. Just remember to try and not compare your work to his. My dad passed a couple of years ago and I told friends that his shoes would be hard to fill since he was such a great man. A wise person told me "Don't worry about filling his shoes" (trying to be like him). Instead...make your own mark while keeping in mind the great example your dad set for you.

I know you're just talking about art here but the idea is the same no matter what we do.
I looked at your gallery and you have the artistic eye. Perspective, symmetry, values...etc. The secret is to keep on drawing. Don't give it up.
