Hey everyone im new to this site ...im a pretty good drawer but im still a beginer drawing is one of the things i want to do...my dads a really good drawer and i wanted to be able to draw like him there is some things i can draw good and some i cant ...i want to draw anime the most though

Funny you should mention your Dad. My son is also a member here. He's a bit younger than you, 11 yrs, but he is also starting out. Maybe your Dad will upload a few drawings too.

well i cant make them andy bigger cause i dont have a scanner i had to to pics with my moms camera phone

Welcome Zackster! We're looking forward to seeing more of your work. It's admirable that you want to draw like your dad. Just remember to try and not compare your work to his. My dad passed a couple of years ago and I told friends that his shoes would be hard to fill since he was such a great man. A wise person told me "Don't worry about filling his shoes" (trying to be like him). Instead...make your own mark while keeping in mind the great example your dad set for you. I know you're just talking about art here but the idea is the same no matter what we do.

I looked at your gallery and you have the artistic eye. Perspective, symmetry, values...etc. The secret is to keep on drawing. Don't give it up.

I have to take pictures that way too!!!!!! No one in my household knows really how to use our scanner. I saw your drawings and they were very expressive .....nice!!!!
