I've been getting into drawing portraits, but I have trouble drawing smiles. could someone give me some advice?

The only advice I can give is just to keep practicing. Smiles are hard especially were teeth are concerned but it just takes time and patience.

If you could post a drawing that you're doing , you would get more concrete help in how where you're going wrong and where you're doing well. smile.gif

Smiling mouths are notoriously difficult to do, but it really is just careful observation and drawing what you see.

I would have to say practice practice and more practice.....Also remember to be soft don't draw really harsh lines unless nesicary!!!!! Also remeber that this is a really hard feture to draw so if you don't get it perfect lots of people have been there done that!!!!!!!
