greetings!

i found this wonderful place from reading the complete idiot's guide to drawing people. i was very passionate about visual arts, even got into a prestigious post-secondary art school, then the disney school of animation. but let it all go at the age of 18. after a creative come of over 12yrs, i've found myself being inspired again! not too long ago i picked up an old friend (pencil) and just went at it without any expectations.

what do you know! it all came flooding out! and i'm slowly remembering tricks and techniques long forgotten and how to look at the world through an artist's eyes. brenda's teachings have been a great help.

I know what you mean. I had a long lay off from the artsy side as well. Came back to it about 2 years ago and I've had something on the drawing board ever since. Now it's an addiction. I've got to be working on something all of the time. Enjoy your stay here.

Caroline, great site!! I love your drawings, they are very unique in your personal style. I am sure you will be more than happy here at Drawspace, as there are many wonderful people here. We are all very attentive to one another and look to each others for support and help when the need arises. There are also some fun challenges over in the General Discussion area as Paulette suggested, also there is a colored pencil thread that was a class that ended that is really fun to participate in.
