Hello everyone!

I teach interactive media design and I’m working on my masters degree in fine arts education. Through the process I’ve been bitten with the drawing bug. I worked in the retail design industry before I started teaching (graphic design and computer animation) and missed out on formal artistic training.

I’m trying to introduce my students to “hands on art”. Most of the work we do is computer based and everyone from employers in the community to art schools emphasize the need for traditional art skills. Over the next year I’ll be sharing sites like this one with my kids. I’m hoping to have them post their work here in the future.
