My apologies for taking so long to introduce myself.

My name is dors I have been a member for about 1 yr... I am a little shy at jumping right in.. just received a gentle push

A little about me:-

I have been drawing/painting for several yrs. just as a hobby and self taught. I started out with oils and after a couple of yrs I started to enjoy water color mainly painting roses. Then had 4 yrs break where I didn't paint at all due to work and personal commitment.
Retired now I joined Drawspace I began to get really hooked on graphite and portraiture. Now I am really enjoying art once again.

Dors, welcome to the forums!! I am really glad you decided to join us!! I am sure your portraits will be as wonderful as the oil paintings you did. Thank you for a nice welcome . The reason why I didn't join in sooner... We have had a really busy time over the last yr... we sold our home and moved up the coast, had a house built, rented 2 different homes while we waited for our home to be built... All settled now back to our hobbies.
