Hi all.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Josh. I just turned 17. I've been drawing off and on for most of my life, but in the last year or so have gotten more serious about it. I'm home schooled, and attend an art school for high school aged home schooled students. It's my first year there, and I'm sure that I will benefit a lot from the instruction. I bought Drawing for Dummies a while back, and stumbled onto this site when looking for other drawings done by Brenda Hoddinott. (I like looking at other people's work to see what techniques they use for shading, lighting, textures etc..)

Well, hello Josh!! Welcome to Drawspace. Brenda is a wonderful person as well as a great teacher and artist. Her site is a great inspiration to all of artist and I know I greatly appreciate it as well as have learned alot from it, as I am sure you will too. There are some pretty good challenges and other things here that you can do as well. The people are great and we all try to help and lean on each other here for advice and critiques. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to seeing your work and participation!!

I saw a few of your drawings.....pretty good!!!!!! Allthough I think that portrait really needed that crown!!! It truly made the whole picture!!! Keep it up
