Yikes! So, I think I'm the only 30-something that is completely useless when it comes to internet forums and anything computer related. I got on a kick today with scanning drawings I've done since I started just a few months ago and decided I'd put them in an album here on Drawspace so that I would have a place to store them and be able to (hopefully) see some kind of progression. I started getting comments from people and I thought it was strange that it was happening so quickly (though I am always up for comments/suggestions/etc). I realized that a person COULD see them if they wanted to, but I guess I thought they'd have to be looking specifically for me, not that the world would see them as they were uploaded. Little did I realize that by making them "public" I was posting them at the front of the gallery for ALL to see. So, my request is simple... please, people, upload more drawings so they'll disappear. blush.gif

Many thanks! G Or, maybe someone has a suggestion for pushing them to the back of the bunch?

Hi Poetess --

Welcome, again, to Drawspace!

I think you got a bunch of comments because your drawings are very charming. Don't worry, they'll disappear from the front page of the gallery soon enough. I hope you will replace them with even more! biggrin.gif

Don't you dare be affraid to show your drawings. They are people in this world that dream about being an artist, say some day they are going to do this or that, might buy a book and never read it just look at the pictures and wish they could draw like that but never try. You're trying and there is no sham in that. Be proud of your self and your drawings. They may not be perfect but I'm not perfect either, never met a perfect person who could do anything perfect. So it don't matter.
I think most people on this website are just like me, we love this stuff. We think about it all the time, wake up in the middle of the night to draw, think a day long at work about a portrait we are working on, and so on. We live for this. If you want to learn you've come to the right place, your with the right people, and your among friends who only want to see you get better. Who could ask for more?
So relax, enjoy the ride, laugh at your mistakes, be proud of your success, and have fun learning this amazeing skill. Glad to have to have you here.

Thank you (to both). I have recovered from the trauma, so I'm feeling better. It's just odd to go back to the front page and see things you weren't expecting to see. I am definitely enjoying this though and I want to keep getting better. I enjoy reading a lot of what others have to say, even if I don't post as often. Thanks again!

One day you're going to do something truly awesome and you'll want to hear what people have to say about it and on that day 27 other people are going to post right after you. tongue.gif
You will learn great things from the people here, take advantage of that. smile.gif
