smile.gif Andrea, I think he is looking to get a wacom type pad for the computer right? It usually comes with a mouse and stylus and when you install it, it allows toy to draw in the programs digitally. If you go to Wacom.com they have numerous styles for them. I personally just like the art programs and never use my tablet anymore. Ebay usually has good prices too. Thats where I got mine from and payed less than 200 for a Wacom Graphire 4, its 6 by 8 inches which is perfect size for any beginner. Hope that helps.

Hi Venus,

Consider to have one in near future and I wonder if we could put a a piece of pre-draw paper over the pad then use the graphic pen to trace along. Does it effect the of pen/pad sensitivity (and how great) ?

The surface of my Wacom tablet is a thin film that lifts up so that you can slip a piece of paper underneath. Works fine.

Yes, it definitely works. Another possibility is to scan the image and draw over it on a semi-transparent layer in the Photoshop.
