Well I got the last two cards in yesterday's mail and this is the first time I've had to get them all scanned together. So here is the way I received them:
Jeanne's arrived first : it is fabulously rich in colour & I really appreciate the bare tree because here in
the sub tropics we seldom have any trees lose their leaves completely.
Then
Amanda's (shoulders) : and it was one of the leaves off Jeanne's tree

! No it is a beautiful
autumn leaf.
Miranda (meow) was next : and my Mum was in the car after I had picked up the mail on the way
and your skull had Mum wondering what kind of people I was drawing with (we don't celebrate Halloween over here)
On the same day
Ernest's card was there too : when I opened your skull Ernest she had had the
Halloween explanation for the swap and she looked at your's saying "Alas poor Yorick, I knew him well Horatio......"
Gretchen's (Frithy) followed : Thanks for the Pumpkin seller. I can just imagine the pumpkin soup I could make with those babies.........mmmmm...........and we also have roadside sellers like that .
The next was a great patchwork from
Kim : the amount of work in that is amazing - don't know that
I could anywhere near that much detail into an ATC.
Thankyou
Mathieu : are you an illustrator - the detail in this happy little gardening mushroom is
wonderful. I love him - I can think of him down the bottom of my garden with the faeries.
I was blown away by
Paulette's : I have had a lot of people talk about drafting film but this was the
first time I had seen it used. And the more I look at this pic of the moon the more subtle colour I see - I don't know how long it took to get those variations on the blue & grey (& I think a bit of pearly pink?) but it was worth all the time.
And yesterday
Travis' (thunderbird) arrived : and thankyou for giving small children nightmares -
although Mickey doesn't look too scary this time.
And last but not least by any means was
Venus' : thank you for all the elements in this night sky -
I love owls and even have a Fitz & Floyd Owl tea set (I have pics of the teapot below in case you were interested)
Thank you all for the time, thought and effort that went into every single one. Sometimes I think it is the hardest thing to come up with original ideas and you folk are a real think tank - all the ideas are brilliant and so well transfered to paper.
