Ok I am running yet another Trading Card Thread ...this time it will have the a Halloween or Fall theme .

The cards like before have to be 2.5 X 3.5 .

No rules ...you may use Watercolor ..Pen .. Graphit ..CP , whatever medium you wish .

I do need ten people to start ..If you were in the last trade you may still join this trade so if you want your name on the list please sign up by posting your name ...I know I am not letting this go by without joining .. I just love doing the cards .

I would like to start the project by October 1 thru November 1

I am definitely in... but we should make sure that anyone who didn't do it last time, but wants in this time, gets to be in. So if need be, I'll volunteer to yield to a newbie -- but only if need be.

Ok no problem ...I was not even sure if a limit was needed but what are we to do if 20 people join in .. we will be too busy drawing 20 cards .. I just think it was so much fun ...I will have the list go like this .

Sounds like a fun trade Kim. The theme is perfect. I have to bow out of this one however, as there's just too much on my plate right now to tackle anything else and still be sane. I will be watching it unfold however. Some trades go as high as 30 or more, but you basically end up doing a constant card-a-day then and I would think you'd burn out pretty fast.

Also if people are working, there just isn't enough time in the day to do that many. But its down to the individuals to decide on the numbers and the time frame. If you increase the number of participants, just increase the length of time people have to complete it.

There were a number of people who wanted to join in last time and perhaps you could go back over the other thread and check on the names and let them know.

Count me in. I have no problem doing more so everyone can get in.

I have done two on Wetcanvas, one with 25 for 3 months, and one with 31 for 6 months. Six months is pretty long and you lose a few people. I will just have time to get them done as I have knee replacement surgery on Oct 30 the day before my 37th wedding anniversary.

I have also joined a Christmas Card Exchange Project in Wetcanvas. There may be 25 participants. I will be busy. But that is ok. They all have to be mailed before Nov 11. But I will love every minute of it.

Do you have these trading card projects quite frequently? I'd love to do one one time but I wouldn't feel up to par since I just re-started drawing (and I saw the amazing quality of the summer ones!) I love the idea though and was just wondering whether there is one every season/major holidays or whatnot. Thanks!

we are having them at the end of each one as long as they continue to get people wanting to join in .. I myself love doing them so I up for each time . we will have another during Novemer and December so please feel free to join in anytime

Thanks for letting me know! I will definately get practicing so that I can feel comfortable joining in soon, but I will enjoy looking at them until then! Who knows, maybe I will un-chicken out in the next couple days, but I doubt it. I hope you continue having enough people join in!

Kim, you should already know you can count me in..LOL. I really enjoyed it as well. I may even go out and get a baseball card keep sake book or whatever they are called..that way they all stay in perfect shape. I will add my name to the list, however if new members or participants want to join in I, like you and Ernest will step down.

I'm going to have plenty of time from 17 october to end of november, due to a knee surgery (Yes Jeanne, me too ).
I'm not sure I will be able to be ready for the 1rst of November, but I'll try !!

Just a question : as I live in France (you all seem to be in US or Canada) won't it be a problem for mailing costs ?

endymion I have done several ATC trades with people from different countries. I am in the US. I put one stamp on US, 2 on Canadian, and 3 on other countries. Our stamps are 39 cents. I haven't had any problems with them being received.

I am very busy with work at the moment and will have to pass this time too, but will watch what everyone is doing.

I am already working on cards. If you want a quick peek, two are on my blog.

I am thinking about doing what another did on the first exchange. Putting them in envelopes and mixing them up before addressing them. Haven't decided for sure yet but....

I am working on a couple more. I am going more with a fall theme but adding a touch of Halloween. I'm not doing the ghoulish thing tho.

Those that are done are looking great. Hopefully I will get a chance to start working on my by the end of the week after all my exams are done.(for a few days at least)

Jeanne, These are wonderful! I am not part of this ATC project, but these cards are really an inspiration to try it in the future.

I want to know you guy drawing on the drawing paper or special card. Please do not laugh at me because i do not have the idea. May be I will join next one. I need to try myself and see how I am going.
