Hi everyone welcome to the drawspace challenge! The rules are simple just draw the picture, digital art is welcome, just please show the original drawing first. and last be as creative as you want!!!

I'm in for Emma, but it will be late in the week when I get done. Going to have the grandkids at least part of the week. That's always a priority for a grandpa. (Spoil 'um and then send them home he he) I guess I have 2 questions. What kind of dog is she, and are her eyes brown?

1-she is a mix breed we adopted her from a shelter she has lab/retriever/shepherd/and chow in her

2-yes the are a dark brown!

I'm glad Snoop dog has a friend. Great colors too..

Here's my phone. I have a terrible time with hard or solid shapes. Faces are softer and somehow easier.

can we vary at all from the look of the design. like do the statue of the fairy in color?instead of a statue?

So long as it is a drawing medium(ie: colour pencil) feel free to use your artistic license. I look forward to seeing what you do.

Well, I fell like I'm at the eye dr. Is this better or is this. Made about 30 shots and none are exactly like my drawing. I had a nice golden color, but this is the best I could do for the posting. Poor Emma.

Slim-you did a fantastic job!!!!!! I want to print it off and show EVERYONE!!!! I absolutly LOVE it!!!! Thank you for drawing her!!!

CYN- I love the phone....I realized after I posted it it would be very challenging to draw!!! You did a great job though!! I also love the dog one it is so so so so GREAT.....you did fantastic drawing the fairy!!! I just love all of yours thanks so much for drawing them!!!

Brian- Oh Snoopy and Emma were made for eachother!!!! Graet job it looks fantastic....sort of animated in your own special way!!!!

I am sorry I didn't get to telling you how lovely your picures were until today....i was unable to use my computer!!! Thank you all again for the loveley drawings!!!!

Hello Morgan and this week's participants. Great entries and nice to see everyone having fun.

Thanks for hosting Morgan!

As usual I'm always a bit short on time to do a detail drawing for the challenges but when I saw your little statue I thought it would make for a nice concept drawing.

I drew this thumb sketch to get the idea across. This image is pretty close to the actual size.

I saw it as a kind of rights of passage thing. The little girl is breaking out and the freeing of the bird. Her face is slightly transformed and aged and looking like she is blowing a kiss.

Whoooooh now that's artsy fartsy for ya. Just messin' around. I actually kind of like the idea and might do a full piece one day.
