This is frusterating as hell!!

After several attempts, I'm still in a creative slump. I haven't done any real drawing in well over a month!

Here is a really neat little thing you can do that will help get away from a block and at the same time boost your brain's recuperative and imaginative power.
When you sit down to draw, decide what the subject is (by conscious choice or just pick a topic or a picture out of a magazine or the dictionary if you are having trouble thinking of something), then you simply pick up the pencil, or whatever you are using, with the opposite hand that you normally draw with.
Using the opposite hand actually requires the brain to use different synapse and creates new neuro pathways in the brain to adapt to the change. This same activity causes the creative side of the brain to work overtime to adapt to the new input also.
It can be very tiresome when you start, but you would be surprised at how well a person does after practicing this for a while. I know a man who had to learn to use his mouth to hold brushes and such. His art is all over Anacortes, my home town. It's wonderful.
Best success to you in getting past your creative block. Let me know how it goes!
