Hello I am Jolieann

I have been drawing since I was old enough to hold a pen and paper. lol As many others on the site I stumbled on this and fell in love with it. I can't wait to get to know everyone and to see your work.

I hate when people say I can't draw because I know they can. In high school my art teacher appointed me to teach one girl how to do advanced sketching or she would fail that class. After a few weeks the teacher asked if I were drawing for her...She was proud to say she did it all by her self.

So I know anyone can to this even a blind man.

One thing I was taught is NO ART IS WRONG or INCORRECT.

Well, it looks like you are sold on the site already. I am hoping you can put some of your art in a gallery to view. I am curious to what I may see coming from someone who can teach others so quickly. I am a beginner here, and unlike you had a terrible experience with my HS Art Teacher and went the opposite way. I was a stick figure kind of guy for many more years than you can count on all your hands and toes. Anyway, I found that I really do enjoy drawing and with the encouragement, comradeship and just all around friendship from this site, I am pursueing my goal.

I hope you find everything you are looking for here, and don't be a stranger to the Forum as well.

The beauty of this place is not only are the lessons good for beginners but intermediate and accomplished artists too.
Oh, and then there's Eric and myself and all the other nutters....erm, i mean cool people to help and assist in any way we can.

your scetches are great. I like the moods your persons show -except the pics of famous people, I mean the other scetches.
