Hello everyone ...I am so pleased with the turn out with the reflection challenge ...everyone did a wonderful job .

This two weeks we will draw the human eye ..I picked this one for a couple of reasons .. one the reflection in the eye .. but also the roundness and the eye lashes can be very challenging ..the folds of skin on the lid ..ect.

Remember to layer your colors this will help bring your drawing to life , do your outline then slowly add layers of pencil ..mark where your highlights are if needed .

No problem ID ..I have done mine and listed all the colors I have used ..I did do alot of layering and in some areas I layered the first layer color over the third layer .. it blended very well that way ...what I found most challenging for me was the color of the eye .. if you look close it looks like folds and I just can not seem to recreate those .

Wow! Eyes are my favorite thing to draw, I'll definitely try it.

...but I don't have that much time this weekend -homework - so I don't know when...

I know this seems like it is hard .. and well it was lol but remember to just dont over whelm yourself with detail just yet .. start off with a outline then do sections at a time ..it will come together .

Now I tend to hit the real white spots with white right at first so I remember its a high light ...I know that may go against what some of you have been told with using white .. but white is my friend when it comes to very light spots .

Kim, Sorry I wasnt able to do the reflections thread challenge as there were many things going on but now that it has majorly slowed down and I actually have stuff in order I was able to do the eye..yay me!! LOL it actually felt good to hold my pencils again. It's not the best and those dang eye lashes are pretty hard. So if I have another chance to redo it, I will. Here is what I did so far.

Everyone else and Kim included feel free to critique and comment on it and tell me where I may need to improve.

I think you did a great job on your eye hun ...eyes are hard to draw with all the lashes and the way they come off the lid .it is challenging

Gonna give a try on this beautiful eye.
