I know this is probably the shortest WIP ever. I was just so proud I couldn't help it. This turned out so much better than I thought it would. Please, leave comments though. There is always room for improvement.

First off. This is for mine and my wifes seventh anniversary. SHe loves fairy life and crochet. (thus the huge crochet hook.) I wanted to do something differnt. SO I cartooned her. SHe has always wanted me to. And she always wanted to have something she could show off. So, I thought I would try Adobe Illustrator pro for the first time. Actually the first time I have ever used a digital format. And well I just love the results. So without further a do. Here it is.

Here is the outline just before I added color.

ANd finally here is the final product!!!!!!!!! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

What a lucky man you are T-Bird - such talent and obviously a beautiful and talented wife too.

What do you use to create your cartoons? Are they coptic pens?

Sue-- I use a mechanical pencil for most of my drawings. Then I will either use c.p. or illustrator pro 11.0 to color as in this instance. I then just transfered the image to a shirt.
