This one i took from the window of my bedroom, pretty lucky to catch the butterfly cause she just fly away the following moment..
[attachmentid=8004][attachmentid=8005]

And this is my brother Peter a lot of time ago, some summer holidays. And i decided to put other because the first one is not that clear, this time my other brother Filip, this one more recent and in some summer holidays as well, you can see part of my brother Peter in this one too, so you can imagine the time diference..

Well, poor Sancho. I did him in graphite and all was well, untill I sprayed fixative on it. Low and behold it diluted or moved the graphite and messed up one ear. So I put charcoal on it to get it so we can see it - oh well another baaaaaaaaaad learning experience.
Slim sad.gif

2ND picture after slim modification. hopefully better. reworked right eye and ear.

I'll be intersted in how you do it. I am working on it in cp and and it is harder than I expected.
By the way, I saw a red car like I did for your challenge (It was also red). The bugger was sooped up. Had big exhaust pipes, all chrome. Fine machine.

I like the little guy. He seems like such a warm little puppy. Probably would't steal your slippers or anything. Slim

Here's my puppy. I did this one during my daughter's theatre practice, sitting in the seats with my 5x7 sketchbook. About 45 minutes drawing time.

G'Day everyone,

Well, I should have looked at this thread a little earlier sad.gif

Anyway, I'm going to be brave, and give the Castle a go. I would like to thank Slim for his effort at the Castle, because his drawing has given me the confidence to try my hand at it.

I just hope I'm not too late getting it completed.

Cheers,

gridlock
Mitamy

I think we should feel free to complete these challenges even beyond the week they occur in. I myself plan to go back through the challenge threads and complete some of the work. I've already selected reference pics from several of the old challenges that I'd like to try, then come back and post later.

tvissoc ... What a great idea. I have missed so many of the challenges lately.
It's been hectic the last couple of weeks. I felt like I had a growth on my ear... haha I had the phone to my ear so much... Both my parents in hospital in the UK... being so far away at these times is not good. They are elderley and very frail.
I will select some of the challenges and print them for a later date.
